The KSDE School Bus Safety Unit is offering a five-hour informational workshop for mechanics. This workshop is designed to provide information to assist mechanics who perform the Part I Mechanical School/Activity Bus Safety Inspection. The class instructor is from the Kansas Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program. This workshop has been offered in the past; however, we are continually updating and improving it. If you have attended the workshop in the past, you may want to consider attending again.

• No certification for attendees

Due to class size, there will not be any hands on training.

At this time, we are requesting a limit of no more than 4 registrations from each school, contractor or other organization.  If the maximum class size is not reached by March 3rd, we will remove this constraint and let everyone know that room is still available in the class.
