The KSDE School Bus Safety Unit is offering a five-hour informational workshop for any mechanic performing the Part I Mechanical School/Activity Bus Safety Inspection. This workshop is designed to provide information to assist mechanics who perform this inspection, which is required by Kansas State Department of Education School Bus Regulations. Class instructors will be Kansas Highway Patrol's Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program personnel. This workshop has been offered in the past; however, we are continually updating and improving it. If you have attended the workshop in the past, you may want to consider attending again.
- Workshop is for informational purposes only
- Lunch will be provided and is included in the $15 registration fee
- No certification for attendees
- Attendance is limited to 50 Individuals
Due to class size, there will not be any hands on training.
At this time, we are requesting a limit of no more than 4 registrations from each school, contractor or other organization. If the maximum class size is not reached by March 3rd, we will remove this constraint and let everyone know that room is still available in the class.
