One-day AAA Driver Improvement Program Instructor Recertification Course

No charge, provided the instructor has the current  AAA Driver Improvement Program material. Stock # 342514 Revised May of 2014. If the instructor does not have the current AAA Driver Improvement Program material, please contact Dennis Tate at 785-296-4545 before registering.

Registration Deadline: February 27, 2023

Please print your confirmation screen upon completion of the registration form. 

The confirmation screen is also your invoice. 

AAA requires all Driver Improvement Program Instructors to be at least 21 years of age and to have a clean driving record for the past three years. A copy of your current Driver’s License Record is required. Please submit to the KSDE School Bus Safety Unit, prior to the class, via email dtate@ksde.org or fax 785-296-6659. 

A copy of your Driving Record may be obtained from the Kansas Department of Revenue at the following web address: https://www.kdor.ks.gov/Apps/DLStatus/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fApps%2fDLStatus%2fSecure%2fDefault.aspx

You will need to complete and pay for an official copy of your driving record. The free status check does not meet AAA requirements.
