KSDE is offering Wheelchair Securement Workshops for School Bus Trainers employed by Kansas School Districts or Kansas School Transportation Contractors. There is no cost to attend this workshop. The workshop is approximately 3 hours in length and will be held in 3 locations across Kansas, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Participants in this class will be taught the skills that are needed to make sure that special needs students and their wheelchairs are adequately and safely secured during transportation to and from school.

The class size is limited to 30 individuals
