The Kansas Department of Revenue is conducting CDL Proxy Testing Event for prospective CDL drivers. The event is being hosted by and at the following location:
Clay County USD 379
Registrants will be given the CDL written test to obtain a CLP (Commercial Learners Permit)
Prospective Kansas school bus driver will be able to take the written test for all or any of the following:
- General knowledge test for a Class A CDL (50 questions)
- General knowledge test for a Class B CDL (50 questions)
- Written test for P Endorsement (20 questions)
- Written test for S Endorsement (20 questions)
- Air Brake test (25 questions)
- Must score 80% on each test taken to pass

- After passing the exam, participants must visit a full-service Driver's License office to pick up their permits and pay a $13 fee for the permit.
- Obtaining ELDT Theory and BTW (Behind the Wheel) training will be the responsibility of the registrant
