PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
One-day AAA Driver Improvement Program Instructor Recertification Course using the NEW DIP instructor curriculum. All instructors recertifying at this class will be required to purchase the NEW curriculum. The purchase must be made through their AAA.biz account prior to attending class.
These requirements must be met with NO exceptions:
- Have a laptop computer. (No Chromebooks or Tablets) They will not work.
- You must have Microsoft Power Point software installed on the laptop. (Google slides and Apple Keynote do not work)
- The laptop must have at least the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed
- You must purchase and downloaded the AAA curriculum from AAA.BIZ on the laptop computer prior to class. (flash drives seem to be problematic)
- You will need to bring the laptop with the Microsoft Power Point, Adobe software and the new downloaded curriculum to the class.
- We recommend having an external mouse.
The cost of the new curriculum through the AAA.biz account is approximately $800.00.
Please be aware instructors will purchase the new AAA curriculum prior to attending a recertification class. HOWEVER, the new curriculum cannot be taught until the instructor has attended a Unit AAA DIP Instructor recertification class.

AAA requires all Driver Improvement Program Instructors to be at least 21 years of age and to have a good driving record for the past three years. A PDF copy of your current Driver’s License Record is required. Please submit to the KSDE School Bus Safety Unit, prior to the class, via email dtate@ksde.org or fax 785-296-6659.
