Data Entry Track
2014-2015
Data Entry
staff are responsible for entering student information into the school's local student information system. The data entry track is designed for those who do
not
submit any student data to KSDE via the KIDS Collection System. Those who upload records to KIDS, should register for the Data Coordinator track instead. Data Entry staff who were certified in the 2013-2014 year, should register for a
Recertification Workshop
instead.
Note: Before registering to pursue a Data Quality Certification in Data Entry, you should have approximately one year of experience working with a Student Information System (SIS) or KSDE's Online Data Tool (ODT).
When registering, DQC Participants need to select only one session from each type, but the sessions must be completed in this order:
Orientation Conference Call
KSDE Resource Navigation Session
In-Person Session:
Data Quality Session (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
**Please ensure that the correct email address is entered. Additional information specific to each session will be sent via email approximately
one week before
each session.
KSDE reserves the right to cancel/combine/add training sessions based on demand.
