Data Entry Track
Data Entry
staff are responsible for entering student information into the school's local student information system. The data entry track is designed for those who do not submit any student data to KSDE via the KIDS Collection System. Those who upload records to KIDS, should register for the Data Coordinator track instead. Data Entry staff who were certified in the 2012-2013 year, should register for a
Re-Certification Workshop
instead.
Note: Before registering to pursue a Data Quality Certification in Data Entry, you should have approximately one year of experience working with a Student Information System (SIS) or KSDE's Online Data Tool (ODT). When you register, an email will be sent to the Administrator email account you provide below asking them to confirm your knowledge and skills working with your own SIS or the ODT.
When registering, DQC Participants need to select only one session from each type, but the sessions must be completed in this order:
(In person sessions are offered back to back during the allotted time to reduce travel.)
